Emily's story?

Does Emily's book take place after the six Molly books? After the war? Does it tell us what happened to her after she left Molly's house?

I am very curious as Emily wasn't with Molly when she went to camp or to the dance classes, yet the movie pics seem to show that she was. Is the movie supposed to be taking place the following year or are they just rewriting the Molly books to include Emily?

In Emily's book, it is like AFTER Moly's party.

Like there is one line that says;

"Emily was begginging to talk like an American. After all, she had been in America for 2 weeks!"

So, yeah. The war is still going on, and the book cover DOES indeed say 1944 on it, not like Nellie's, which said 1906, and Samantha acknowledged (if I'm not mistaken) her 12th birthday, but in each girl's own books, they are 9 turning 10.

Emily was only supposed to be at Molly's house until her aunt got better. She is not in any other books. I personaly think they have just rewritten the story to include Emily.
